Dragontales Royalties Update

We've broken even on Dragontales as of January and have sold an extra 26 books! Due to delayed publisher compensation payments, we missed the January payment of royalties to contributing authors and artist, but all royalties will be carried over into the next royalties payment date in June.

This is a short story I'm working on...it will be very different in the final draft, but as always, all comments are very welcomed :)

The dress in the window was gorgeous! It was long, black, beaded, and slit almost all the way to the hip. My mother was shaking her head disapprovingly as my grin spread wider.
